Message from the Mayor
As mayor of Coffee County, I would like to extend the County’s hospitality. Coffee County is a wonderful place to live and visit. The county includes an excellent interstate, highway, rural road system, natural beauty and a productive economy. We have been experiencing an exponential growth in residential and commercial growth markets. Coffee County has four industrial parks including Manchester land set aside for industrial development, the Coffee County Interstate Park, the joint Industrial Park and the Tullahoma Industrial Park. In addition to these industrial developments; Coffee County is proud to be the home of the Arnold Engineering and development center where critical and vital technology is researched and developed. The County is home to many beautiful areas such as Old Stone Fort State Park, Short Springs Natural area and The Normandy Lake Reservoir. We have many natural treasures like the Duck River,” Recent biological surveys of the Duck River indicate that it is one of the most bio-diverse rivers in North America according to the Tennessee Chapter of The nature Conservancy, free flowing for most of it’s 269 miles and brimming with species, the Duck River is one of the last rivers of it’s kind anywhere in the nation”. The County is inundated with natural beauty from its rolling landscape to its rivers and streams and I invite you to explore them. Coffee County has always been my home and I am proud to represent the citizens to the best of my abilities. My vision for Coffee County is one of a productive County where everyone has equal representation and has an opportunity to express their desires and opinions. I want to achieve a state of efficiency where the three local governments look forward to working together to achieve the best and most desired results for the Counties citizens, a community that everyone is proud to call home. Coffee County is a wonderful place to live; work or visit and I hope you take the time to get to know this wonderful community as I have. |
